The Compliance Analyst conducts audits of provider policies, procedures, clinical, and billing systems to ensure that services have been provided in accordance with CBH contracts and are meeting regulatory, clinical, and best practice standards. Performs regular and special compliance audits of provider clinical records against claims paid. Reviews DBHIDS required policies and procedures. Educates provider staff around issues of policy and procedure. Performs clinical audits and makes decisions about quality of care and best practice issues. Correlates and analyzes data acquired through the audit process. Prepares written reports in a timely manner for all audits and special projects that includes analysis of the collected data and recommendations for internal and external actions to be considered. Identifies potentially fraudulent provider activity through audits, reports from clients, providers and from internal sources. Completion of a master’s degree program at an accredited college or university in a behavioral health or closely related discipline. Four (4) years’ experience post-masters degree in assessment and/or counseling within an adult or child/adolescent behavioral health treatment setting. Possession of a valid proper class motor vehicle operator's license as issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) prior to appointment and during tenure of employment, and have own transportation. (Salary Range: $48,236 - $64,643)


The Director of Accounting Operations manages the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, cash management and state and regulatory financial reporting functions. Essential Functions: Monitor daily functions of the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable and cash management functions to ensure transactions are conducted in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and with regulatory requirements; Create and maintain accounting procedures and policies; Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, regulatory reports and tax returns; Monitor month and year end accounting closing functions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA required, Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior accounting management role with people management responsibilities.


The Accountant is responsible for entering general ledger transactions, ensuring the accuracy of work papers and journal entries and assisting all other areas of the accounting department. Prepares selected journal entries and accruals, enters entries on the general ledger system, and submits entries for approval within ten days after month-end. Prepares account analysis to support assigned trial balance accounts and prepares any necessary adjustments within fifteen days after month-end. Work on special projects as directed by the Director of Accounting Operations. Files all supporting documentation, work papers and reports in sequential order by month and submits to Director for review. Prepares weekly city invoice with appropriate back up. Support Senior Accountant in maintaining fixed asset detail and depreciation schedule. Reconciles accounts to the general ledger and records adjustments and depreciation to the general ledger. Back up support for payroll processing. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Familiarity with computerized accounting systems. Thorough familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. (Salary Range: $45,939 - $61,564)


The Sr. Research Analyst is responsible for coordinating and leading performance improvement activities using accepted methodologies for program evaluation, and for development of performance measures, analysis, and reporting of projects, indicators, and outcomes. The Sr. Research Analyst collaborates with interdisciplinary members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, clinical care managers and other professional personnel, and support staff as required. Qualifications: Master’s degree in health sciences, social sciences, health information management, organizational development, or similar field. Ph. D. preferred; Demonstrated expertise in database management and reporting and awareness of ethics and restrictions when using and sharing of cross-system data sources; Demonstrated expertise in use of analytic tools such as SQL, SPSS or SAS. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Visio. (Salary 50,648-67,875)


The Lead Evaluation Analyst leads performance evaluation across a broad spectrum of quality issues related to HealthChoices compliance and Community Behavioral Health’s quality management program. This position provides the analytic support for Program Evaluation Performance Summary (PEPS) and other PA Department of Public Welfare quality management activities, including but not limited to root cause analysis, performance data activity reporting and clinical/cost effectiveness analysis.
Qualifications: Minimum of a Masters Degree in social sciences, health sciences or similar fields required with strong quantitative training. Ph.D. preferred. Relevant Work Experience: Five years or more data and analytic experience post degree, with two years in healthcare industry (preferably managed care) or social service required;Two years or more project management experience preferred. (Salary: $55,840-67,875)


The Information Services Security Analyst ensures the security of Community Behavioral Health’s protected health information (PHI) and other sensitive data, while complying with HIPAA, HITECH, and other applicable regulations. Primary responsibilities include: Maintain and monitor firewall, intrusion detection, SIEM (security incident and event management), and DLP (data loss prevention) systems; monitor incidents and respond according to Security Incident Response procedures; monitor error messages, performance analysis data and available resources; keep current with updates; maintain network infrastructure (routing and switching) equipment and performs upgrades as necessary; ensure the timely patching of security vulnerability on client systems via Microsoft System Center; analyze, develop and revise information security policies and procedures, in compliance with HIPAA, HITECH and other regulations. Qualified cnadidates must have a college degree in a related field and/or combination of technical school education, training, certifications and experience; Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible experience in a technical position required, including at least two (2) years in network security. Experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred; Experience with firewalls, network switches, and other network infrastructure components.; General working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, and wireless connectivity.(Salary Range: $53,181-$71,269)


The Clinical Care Manager conducts initial and concurrent reviews for behavioral health care treatment, including inpatient psychiatric treatment, inpatient substance abuse treatment, behavioral health rehabilitation services, acute partial and residential treatment; assesses for risk factors; identifies individuals requiring care management services; guides the discharge planning process with treatment providers; and coordinates continuity of care. Qualified applicants must possess Master’s Degree and/or Advance Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology; or equivalent, and a minimum of three (3) years experience post-graduate experience in assessment and/or experience working with children with an autism spectrum disorder. (Salary Range: $45,939 - $61,564)
